Virosil F&B - Ideal for F&B

Disinfection of all food processing operations is a must for the F&B industry for hygienic reasons.

Disinfection products used in the F&B industry, they can be classified into four broad groups.

  1. Chlorine-based products
  2. Quaternary Ammonium Compounds (QUATS)
  3. Idophors
  4. Virosil F&B

Though each class has its unique qualities, Virosil F&B, has been proven both in tests and real-world applications to be more effective - combining the best outcomes of all other options and at the same time being non-toxic and environment-friendly.

Aerial Fumigation

Virosil F&B has been the ideal choice of companies wanting to replacing Formalin Formaldehyde Fumigation. Concentration: 20% for 1000 cu. ft. area to be fumigated with ULV fogger (i. e. 200 ml of Virosil F&B in 800 ml DM water).

Contact Time: One hour, after which the area is ready for operations.

The recommended ULV fogger gives a very fine mist which allows the formulation to be suspended in the atmosphere for a longer period of time, guaranteeing a 100% kill rate on all air borne bacteria and fungus.

Water Disinfection

A dose of 100 ppm (1000 ml per 10,000 litres of water) is recommended for complete pathogen-free water.

Instruments & Equipment Disinfection

Dip the instruments in 10% solution for 15 mins.

CIP/Loop System Disinfection

When used in recommended dosages completely eliminates Biofilms.

Surface Disinfection

A 10% solution is required to disinfect all working areas, pipelines and CIP units.

Storage Tank Disinfection

Spray the surfaces of the tank with a 5% to 10% solution.
